Conservation Projects

Following the advice of a colleague in the Library's Conservation Department, I attempted two repair projects on 19th century prayer books I've owned for some time. These were my first attempts at true conservation work as opposed to creating a book from scratch, and although I was drawing on knowledge from bookbinding courses, there were clearly skills which I had not yet practised.
