Book and Paper Projects

I have recently developed an interest in bookbinding and all crafts related. Here are a selection of the projects I have completed.

Paper Making Short Course

In June of 2025 I attended a short course teaching Paper Making at West Dean. The course was taught by Lucy Baxandall.

This project was undertaken to display a selection of paper made at the West Dean Course.

I attended a bookbinding course held in Madingly Hall, Cambridge by Helen Perry.

For my mum's birthday, I made her a Christmas Card Record Book, using a sewn boards binding with exposed stitches.

I made a set of mini quatre-bound, single section books to use as Christmas gifts and decorations.
